Infrared Heating
Infrared radiation is electromagnetic radiation beyond the red edge of the visible spectrum, at the same wavelength that the sun as well as the human body emits. It has nothing to do (and it should not be confused) with the harmful ultraviolet radiation, which is emitted in a totally different wavelength. The infrared radiation is not visible by the human eye. We can sense it thanks to the sensors of the human skin.
The infrared radiation works at the base for the protective, macrowave infrared C-ray (biogenetic infrared), which penetrates the air and heats the solid bodies. That is to say, the air is not heated first. The air is heated only after coming in contact with the objects of the environment that are already heated. The infrared heating operates consequently in an absolute natural manner by heating the environment exactly as the sun does so.
The sun, the fire, the human body are sources of infrared radiation. Consequently the infrared radiation is a natural way of heating, the way that the nature chose to heat us, as opposed to the conventional heating systems which are harmful for the human health, the environment and our pocket.
Advantages:
Operation: By heating the structural components, the furniture and the human body, a thermal accumulator is formed, which collects the energy and stores it for a very long time. When the desired temperature is achieved, the thermal body turns off until it needs to refill the accumulator. Objects and walls remain dry and yield heating. The radiators, air conditions and air heaters “catch” the cold air from the floor of the space, they heat it and re-circulate heated air in a “abrupt” manner. As a result, the dust and the microorganisms suspend in the air. At the same time, the walls which are cooler, liquidate part of ithe air which sits on them (in other words moisture is formed). Heating devices which take advantage of the airstreams have another disadvantage, which is the temperature difference in the structural elements of the space. This difference between roof and floor may reach up to 7°C.
Health: Since we don’t have primary air heating with infrared panels, but heating through radiation, the wind does not swirl, so there is no dust suspending. A pneumonologist may explain the harmful consequences of the dust and the microorganisms in the air you inhale, which may lead to asthma and allergy outbreaks. Accordingly, the air temperature is lower than that of the walls. As we mentioned, the air inhaled is cooler with no dust and therefore much healthier.
Saving: The system is inexpensive to buy and offers great energy-saving during its operation. The savings may rise up to 50% in comparison to conventional heating fuels (oil, natural gas) and 80% in comparison to air-conditions and conventional electrical heating systems.
